Warranty Policy
SKATEBOARD DECK WARRANTY:
All Shipwreck skateboards deck have a manufacturer's warranty for 30 days from the date of purchase. We will replace any Shipwreck skateboards deck due to manufacturing defects such as warped or delamination. This warranty does not include normal wear and tear, or improper use. To begin the return process, please send the skateboard to the below address accompanied with a copy of the sales receipt, telephone number and return address. Please allow two weeks for processing and handling.
If our experienced inspector decides your skateboard was not defective and that you just broke it, you will be informed and asked if you want your skateboard sent back to you COD, or destroyed.
Before returning a skateboard to us for inspection, please be aware that all wooden decks can be broken as a result of landing a trick incorrectly. It’s a skateboard. They hit pavement, curbs, and are subject to outdoor elements. They do not remain in pristine condition. We appreciate your understanding and we thank you, once again for your purchase.
If the returned skateboard is no longer in stock you will receive a replacement that is similar size and shape.
Please contact us first to alert us that you have a potential warranty issue before sending in your skateboard.
COVERED BY WARRANTY:
Delamination (separation in the glue lines between wood veneers of the deck due to an insufficient bond)
Warpage (deck that is severely twisted making the left side of the concave drastically higher than the right side or vice versa)
Any defect in materials or workmanship after purchase
NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY:
Broken board due to impact, improper landing
Exposure to environmental elements
Stress cracks, water damage
User error
Improper set up or maintenance
Normal Wear
